COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed at Funky Buddha, only served at Anthony’s Pizza.

Every great pizza pie deserves a great beer to go with it, so Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza teamed up with Fort Lauderdale’s own Funky Buddha Brewery to brew our own: Fuhgeddaboudit Red Ale. This fiery-red Italian-American ale is crafted with a blend of European barley and English hops. Flavorful enough to balance out the intense crunch of coal fired crust, but also refined enough pair with delicate San Marzano tomato sauce, Fuhgeddaboudit Red Ale is the perfect complement to pizza, coal oven chicken wings, pork ribs, or any of your favorite dishes at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza.

Never thought I’d say this about a Funky Buddha ale, but not good. The aroma is off, the taste is strange. Sorry.

DocJitsu (2550) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - DEC 9, 2015
Pours a ruby cola color with no head moments after the pour. Fruity aroma with a fade of vinegar. Smooth, wet, and soft, with very mild carbonation. Toasted malt with some light scorched notes. Fruitiness as well.

Draft. Nose is caramel with toffee. Taste is similar. Just kind of a bland red beer. It’s ok. Nothing wrong with it. But I don’t need more Amber ales

Oakes (26757) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 16, 2015
On tap at Funky Buddha. Reddish-amber, hazy, caramel nose with light toast. Bland, a going nowhere red, with a bit of toast, but tartness, too.
