Bottle shared at the Canary wharf tasting 16/02/2016. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. Thick milky man milk, oily, thick. Aroma is hot alcohol, sharp orange rind, rice, paint stripper. Flavour is composed of milky, chalky, bitter lemon, tart, semi sweet, milky. Palate is horrid, chunky, chalky, thick, smoothie. Not a fan of this.

Bottle shared at One Canada Square as ’Gekkeikan Yuzu Nigori Sake’, 7%. Picked up in a Japanese shop. Separates in the bottle, so requires mixing. Thanks to Leighton for demonstrating the technique. Milky opaque pour, leaves a creamy dotted scummy residue on the glass. Aroma is key lime pie and Calpol. Body is smooth with low carbonation. Taste is pretty sweet yet dry, chalky and powdery, sour yuzu, meringue, tea, touch of booze. Certainly an interesting beverage. Pretty dry and powdery.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2016 Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Daniel. Pours murky, milky white. Smells kind of like lemon meringue, with some lime accents. Medium sweet flavor with more tangy lemon, light acidity, vanilla frosting. Medium bodied with a drying, chalky texture. Sweet finish with more lemony tartness, ground up white rice, more vanilla, cake. Tasty enough.
