muzzlehatch (4975) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 4, 2018500 ml bottle from Valli Produce in Rockford, IL, consumed rather cold from an Ayinger weizen glass. Foam fills the glass and starts to creep up inside the bottle immediately on opening, bad sign for most style but this...we'll see. Hazy pale gold, foam lasts some time but leaves a dry-looking surface when it fails...fruity-wheaty aroma, sourdough-yeasty, typical, can't get specific characteristics beyond those honestly...on the tongue, quite tart, a bit peppery, acidic - berry character is here but muted, and there's virtually no sweetness...nice and full without being heavy or really yeasty...long dry finish. Solid work I must say.
wlajwl (10859) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 29, 2017Aroma is wheat, complex berries and a hint of salt. The flavor is berries/blueberries, wheat, mild salt and a tart/slightly spicy finish.

Growler from the brewery.
Hazy orange, thin veil on the surface, spotty lace.
Aroma is mildly fruity, tangy lactobacillus, ale yeast.
Taste is lightly tart, mild cherry, can’t pick out any blueberry, it’s kind of muddled fruit wise.
Light bodied, somewhat crisp, refreshing.
Pairs well with a washed rind cheese.
