UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 Peppermint, chocolate malt, and straw aroma. Black with moderate brown head. Mildly sweet peppermint, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Very nice.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2020 Week old can A: Poured a full inch of lasting tan foam and sludgy dark brown body. S: I get dark chocolate and that green 'artificial' mint note. T: Strong, dry mint notes overwhelm. Hot doublemint more than peppermint. Chocolate is there but is completely dominated by mint. M: Active carbonation, light medium body and a dry crisp finish. O: With the dirty appearance, candy-like smell and medicine-y taste, there's little to recommend about this. Maybe better with some age.

Foxbush (3019) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - DEC 31, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2018 Draft at the brewery The stout poured a deep black color with a small tan head and no lacing. The stout has a medium body with soft carbonation. Nice peppermint on the nose. Taste is mostly mint balanced with roasted malt, a bit of licorice. The finish has mint and licorice to close out each swallow.

pandapandapanda (64) - North Carolina, USA - MAR 17, 2018
UPDATED: APR 3, 2018 Pleasant minty aroma. Deep brown/almost black pour with tiny tan head and hardly any lacing. Taste is mostly mint, a bit of licorice aftertaste. Moderately smooth, thin, and light-bodied. Moderate finish that trails off with licorice more than mint.

Pours dark brown with a fast fading tan head. Aroma is chocolate malt and peppermint. Taste follows. A bit thin and lacking depth, but really very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A cool seasonal twist on their stiletto stout, adds some nice peppermint flavor and aroma to an already great beer. Pours up black with a very small tan head. Aroma is deep rich chocolate, and peppermint. Flavor follows suit with a nice bite of semi sweet dark chocolate, and refreshing peppermint. The hint of coffee is still there. Cool peppermint fade. Not over done, but definitely has a healthy peppermint presence. All around balanced, a touch dry. Nice.
