COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gneiss Weiss is our flagship beer. This beer relies on a grain bill heavy on the wheat to bring forward a clean spiciness and creamy mouthfeel, without even a hint of cloying sweetness. We use American hops to help define the beer as a full flavored, easy drinking session beer.

16 ounce can from airforcehops. Thanks! The beer is a clear gold with a big head of white foam. Strong head retention. Sweet banana taste with a nice accompanying nutmeg and cardamom sweetness. Sort of a creamy beer as well. Mild and easygoing. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

On tap at Airline Brewing. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of bananas, bubblegum, herbs and mild hops. The taste was similar to the aroma with more bananas, bubblegum, herbs, mild hops with medium carbonation and a nice mild aftertaste. Not bad.

500 ml bottle from VFM in Ogunquit, 8/16/16. Murky golden pour with a fizzy, foamy head and some spotty lacework. Clove, wheat, and other spices. Grainy. Lemon notes. A bit sweet and wheaty, lots of clove, finishes spice forward and just a touch tart. Ligther bodied and easy drinking with a somewhat fizzy close. A decent, spice-forward example of the style.
