This deep colored American Brown Ale is often requested and one of our personal favorites. Many a weekend was spent perfecting this one. Brewed with 2 - row pale and 5 specialty malts, its malty in both flavor and smell. A heap of Cascade and Willamette add to balance this easy drinking ale. Hole up, have a few, and tell us what you think. We’re bettings it’s the best American Brown Ale you’ll ever have.

Lots of sweet caramel malt on top of a bready, somewhat metallic base, mild wet grain and apple offset by a mild, piney finish tinged with citrus. Good feel, oily and smooth, but the pour seems more amber than brown, and the nose is mostly unnoticeable. Pretty average.

Taps clear golden brown with a nice buff head. Aroma features toasted malt, cinnamon, woody hops and nutty notes. Flavor features toasted malt, nutty, cinnamon and subtle hoppy tones for a pleasing ale. Body is a little thin, but fizz is good. Drink brown when in town.

Pours an appetizing chestnut with a thick golden-buff head that leaves good lacing.aroma delights with caramel, roast malt, molasses, and cloves notes. Lip-smacking flavor is a little sweet but not too much; notes of caramel, cloves, toasted malt, and a little molasses dance across the taste buds.smooth texture is firm and fairly lively. Good people brew good beer.

12 oz. can. Foggy, chestnut body with a quarter inch of foam. Smells of earthy chocolate toffee, apple, graham cracker and toasted nut. Flavor has lightly tart apple, dark toffee and graham cracker. Hints of wood, toasted pecan, ash and chocolate in the finish balance the big malts quite nicely. Medium body has a mostly smooth, medium carbonation and a delicate balance. Almost seems like a quality Scottish Ale and it’s my favorite of 7 brews from GPBC to date.

Murky light brown, with a sizey beige foam head. Smells like, well, a brown ale. Some molasses, some caramel, some chocolate. Taste is molasses, cola, and tiny hint of bourbon. Some piney hops in the finish.
