JBPortland (1642) - Virginia, USA - APR 10, 20172012 22oz bottle pours viscous oily black with tiny head. Overall this beer is holding up great for the years. Big bold rich stout with tons of chocolately fudge, molasses, maple and dark fruit. You can tell it’s a cousin of bcbs. Finishes big and sweet but not over the top. Super thick mouthfeel. Very tasty stout.
sloth (3340) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - FEB 4, 2017Small brown head thats short lived, no lace. Black colored. Nose of slight roast, chocolate and a good bit of soy, boozy. Body is full-ish under carbonated, oily and sticky. Roast, soy and a little chocolate, hint of tobacco and caramel, more booze. Fairly sweet, for me anyways, finish. Glad i didnt let it warm too much. Just a bit too much, no class. Another overated GI product. Obviously doesnt age well, dang it! I suspect it wasnt ALL THAT when it was fresh either. Bomber dated 03/25/11 Thank christ thats over with! ARF!!
thepatrickman (1503) - Lewes, East Sussex, ENGLAND - NOV 28, 20162012. Draft (!) at the York River Landing, Maine. This has held up really well for 4 years. It’s still got an impressively full mouthfeel and a strong chocolate and dark malt flavor, and it isn’t showing any signs of oxidation. A mighty impressive Imperial Stout.
bnokk (549) - Lee, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 17, 20162011 vintage in 2016. APPEARANCE-
pure black, head is absent.
NOSE-
as it warms up, it smells more and more boosy.
FLAVOR- roastiness abounds. Boosy also comes through when it warms up. As boosy as it is, it is very smooth flavored.

jake65 (4040) - Lewiston, Idaho, USA - APR 17, 2016Boise Imperial Stout Tasting. Not sure on the age of the bottle, a few years on it I think. Aromatic with chocolate and roast, light coffee. Bis flavors of sweet and earthy roast, chocolate and coffee. A solid effort in the style.
