Aroma has bourbon, vanilla and licorice. Flavour has bourbon, liquor, licorice and mild rubbery tones. Too much alcohol and rubbery tones here - just like the Birthday one had.
HarvesterOfSorrow (2863) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - AUG 27, 2021UPDATED: AUG 27, 2021 August 26, 2021 - bottle from Binny's on Black Friday 2020 opened to celebrate another wedding anniversary and poured into a couple Bourbon County snifters (2015 and 2016 editions). Black pour with some tan head that faded quickly, but foams up nicely with a gentle swirl. Aroma was strong bourbon, wood, malt, chocolate and dark fruit. Taste had a nice balanced heat that lasted all the way through. The heat is supplemented with sweetness, dark fruit, chocolate and molasses. Full-bodied, light carbonation, but still very smooth drinking.

Rich Weller 12 year with the BCS base imperial stout. Not even hot considering the ABV. (Not for me anyhow). Awesome mouthfeel. Really great.
