UPDATED: DEC 30, 2019 Bottle split at L6 Tasting, picked up from the Beer Hawk bar - Southbank, 21/03/19. Light black with a well presented tan covering. Nose is roast malts, fruit loaf, coco powder, toffee, light bourbon. Taste comprises ripe fruits, chocolate, raisins, trace of bourbon, dark malts, light spice. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow barrel edge. Ok stuff ... drinks easy but lacking a little depth.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2019 Piana obfita, szybko opada do chmurki. Barwa rubinowo brązowa, klarowna. W aromacie orzechy, wanilina, cukierki Werther's Original, rodzynki, trochę czekolady... W smaku półsłodkie, głównie melasa, przypalany karmel i susz jak w kompocie wigilijnym. Wanilia i burbon w posmaku, średnia, ziołowo tytoniowa goryczka, średnie wysycenie, półpełne w odbiorze. Całkiem fajne, ale brakuje trochę ciała, wyszło z tego bardziej takie Scotch Ale według mnie...

Bottle shared at the Columbus Tasting 21/03/2019. Many thanks A cola brown coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is stale sweet nutty grains, grae, apple, caramel. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toffee, sweet, sticky caramel, salty tofee, apple, ok, biscuit. Palate is semi sweet, ok, woody tannin, graep. Woody.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2019 Bottle shared in London - cheers to Cloin. Pours clear copper-brown with a foamy, off-white head. Nice stuff overall, rich toffee character, low bitterness, lightly toasted brown bread. Medium bodied, a little oily, with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more toffee notes, some ripening berries. Solid.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2018 Wyraźna ale delikatna paloność i przypalony karmel na pierwszym planie, dalej wychodzi leciutko bourbon, kakao, lekka wanilia, a takźe przyjemne czekoladki z śliwką i alkoholem. Smak bardzo fajny - słodkawoporterowy, mix karmelu z bourbonem i delikatną palonością i wanilią, po czasie wychodzą bardzo fajnie ciemne owoce, śliwki. Słodki, trochę cukrowy, średnie ciało

Keg at Casc Aberdeen. It pours darkest ruby - black with a decent tan head. The aroma is rich dark fruits, fruit cake, plum, bitter - sweet, soft roasted character, plum, date and oak. The taste is initially smooth, then bitter, rich roasted malt, warming alcohol, vanilla, rocky road, fruit cake, nougat, charred wood, leather, chocolate cake and prune with a roast and warming finish. Medium to full body and fine, foamy carbonation. Maybe lacks a touch of depth, but it is flavourful. Enjoyable.

Pours black with low tan head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla and chocolate, light molasses. Taste is bourbon rich up front, but mellow sweet vanilla and chocolate finish. Medium bodied, smooth, with soft carbonation.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours deep ruby, nose is bourbon, toffee, roasted, cola, taste is chewy toffee, caramel, cola, vanilla, light roasted malts.

Bottle at Craig's. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Vanilla and coffee aromas. Taste has some chocolate, more coffee and booze notes.
