NikkTwist (4993) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 6, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2022 Draft at Fado. Cloudy golden orange pour with a slim foamy head. Big but watery tropical fruit flavors. Mango. Pineapple. Green tomatoes. Substantial.

Finhead (2278) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - DEC 24, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2021 Hazy, golden pour with a white head. The aroma is fruity with pineapple, mango, and grapefruit. It has a full body with lively carbonation. The taste is bittersweet to start, then finishes more bitter and dry with noticeable alcohol.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2021 I've wrote many times of my imperial stout fatigue, and now I think I'm going to start writing about hop fatigue. Hoppy beers are every where these days, and I'm starting to miss ordinary porters or malt leaning beers. That has little to do with whether this is a good or bad beer, but just some context. But this is a strong ass 9.9% in a full imperial pint serving. This will get me! So it pours a amber color. Big tropical hop nose, pineapple and mango, a little sweat sock, orange zest. Flavor has a big full malt sweetness, as you'd probably expect from a beer this big. A bit sugary. Hop flavorings are there, zesty with a little lime zest, some vague tropical fruit flavors. Finish isn't overly bitter, the hops are balanced by that big malt body. Somewhat drinkable for its scale (but ask me again when I'm done with the pint). Lingering bitterness and sweet alcohol. Yea honestly its a bit much. So within the realm of IIPAs, I'd say its 85th percentile at least, but given my new preference for drinkable lighter beers, I feel this is more 60th percentile at best. Can from WaWa in FL

pkbites (1380) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 9, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2021 Cloudy yellow pour with flat white head that dies quickly. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Fruity flavor but quite a bit of alcohol burn. Not bad but not great. Can.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2021 Slightly hoppy, slightly skunky, super high in alcohol content, but that flavor does not dominate.

jandd1983 (6872) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - NOV 22, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2021 Can. It poured a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of hops, citrus and tropical fruits. The taste was similar to the aroma with more hops, citrus, tropical fruits, florals, some grapefruit with medium carbonation and a nice bitter sweet aftertaste. Nice.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2021 A bit flat and stale, but also tropical fruit and hops. Hides ABV well. Decent but not memorable or unique.

Ron (6246) - Rochester, New York, USA - OCT 25, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 25, 2021 Large can I shared with Bleier. Pours an almost clear golden with white head that lasts. Aroma is of tropical fruit, which I could smell as soon as I opened the can. Although the flavor is juicy and fruity, the taste is bitter. Alcohol is well hidden for 9.9% Body is medium to full with light carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel.

heemer77 (5729) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - OCT 1, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2021 Can. Slightly hazy deep gold body with a fluffy bright white head. Nose of strong mango and passion fruit. There is also some earthy walnut goodness. The taste is lightly mango with walnuts. Not at all sweet yet it definitely has that tropical fruit character. The finish is toasted bread crust. Light mouthfeel for the abv but with plenty of carbonation bite. Nicely done.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2021 Tall can. Pours a hazy light gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical. Taste is grapefruit, pineapple, melons, lime, and malt. Somewhat sweet. Pretty good.
