COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great Divide’s Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti’s hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

mrmom (274) - - DEC 19, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 Black body with fluffy white head. A lot of burnt coffee, dark chocolate and caramel. Malty, but seems a bit unbalanced in terms of bitterness.

PITOPIETHO (1276) - POLAND - APR 17, 2021
UPDATED: APR 17, 2021 Aromat wyraźnie czekoladowy. W smaku mocno palone, świetnie ułożone. Dużo kakao ale takiego gorzkiego. Goryczka wyraźna, fajna palonosc. Zdecydowanie bardziej w kierunku wytrawnych risow i mi to pasuje. Nasycenie wyrazne.

linus (509) - - MAR 9, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2021 Massive roasty malts. Chocolatey. Some toffee and caramel sweetness. Dark chocolate bitterness. Burst of flavours overpowers any alcohol taste. Extremely potent at 9.5%. Full bodied. Velvety smooth. Great stuff!

TooTallGeorge (33) - - MAR 7, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 7, 2021 Pours from the can a dark brown producing an opaque beer in the glass with a thick, tan head. Chocolaty aroma, but with a strong coffee flavor. This beer likely has high calorie count, but it is worth it.

midovark (4274) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 26, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 26, 2021 Can at home, cellared this one for 1.5 years. Pours jet black with a surprisingly thick and long lasting, beige head. Nose is dark chocolate, cocoa powder, coffee and hops: pine and light citruses. Taste is sweet, but with a faint, delicate bitter touch, showing dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, cocoa powder and pine again. Closes with a bitter and sweet, chocolatey, citric finish, has a full, creamy body and soft carbonation. While I'm usually not a fan of the American iterations of the style this is a hell of a banger. Smooth and creamy sweet indulgance, but hopped rather heavily, so much so that it actually remind me of a black IPA. Great stuff.

4.2
drpimento (6063) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 13, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2021 I reviewed this beer on RB a long time ago when it was last sold in Wisconsin. They keep losing my reviews. It's really getting old. Appearance is an opaque pitch black with a tan foamy frothy head that just sits there. The aromas are roast, black patent, dark malt, cocoa. Flavors are like nose, somewhat sweet up front but balanced with carbonation and bitterness. Good body and a lingering bitter finish.
