UPDATED: DEC 15, 2021 Cloudy off brown with no head. Nose has some dates and woody whiskey nuances but the malt tones underneath is a little flabby and chewy. Flavor is boozy and semisweet cereal malty with hints of toffee and cherry and dates, some whiskey and caramel and oak. Kinda just alright even though all the individual components of a great beer are there.
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2021 Can. Pours a dark copper with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is raisin, licorice, caramel, wood, bourbon, vanilla. Slick body, toffee, vanilla, wood, peat, bourbon, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.
