COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Come Play With Us is an imperial stout that shines with enough coffee, maple syrup, and marshmallow to haunt you forever… and ever… and ever. We hope this might be the best gosh-darned beer from Timbuktu to Portland, Maine, or Portland, Oregon, for that matter.

Gerbeer (5947) - Nanoose Bay, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 29, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2021 1 pint can. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of maple syrup, brown sugar, dark caramel, and light roasted malts. Flavors of maple syrup, chocolate macaroon, sweet coffee, oily roasted malts. Very sweet but with a nutty bitterness maybe from the coffee. Alcohol becomes more prominent in the finish.

Oakes (26757) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 27, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2021 Dark brown, no head and it looks thick. The aroma is big, especially maple syrup and coffee. Sticky sugars all over the place and maple galore. Rich dark roast in behind that, it’s powerful but there’s just so much sugar in this.

Sledutah (10025) - Utah, USA - DEC 26, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2021 16oz can thanks to Toby. Pours black with a small tan head, light lacing. Almonds, maple syrup, caramel, vanilla, chocolate and sweet malts. Very good, it's pretty sweet though. But, Wow.

fiulijn (27110) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 19, 2021
Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Pitch black colour, pours viscously, small head, almost none. Deep aroma nuts, caramelized pecans, maple glaze. It's full bodied, thick, considerably sweet, but the sweetness is somehow balanced by the coffee notes; the alcohol instead is barely noticeable; loaded with pecans, nuts, green nuts, dark caramel, burnt sugar, maple syrup; rich till the finish.
Excellent.

DenverLogan (2900) - Burien, Washington, USA - DEC 10, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 10, 2021 From a 16 oz can whose date I can't read, into a stem glass. Pours black with brown head and lace. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, dark malts. Modest carbonation and big mouthfeel. Flavors of sweet dark malts, vanilla, coffee, maple syrup ... oh my! Overall rich, flavorful, over the top? Yes. Tasty? Yes.

mcberko (34280) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 28, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2021 On tap at Great Notion - Ballard, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is a maple syrup bomb, like Double Stack, with intense maple syrup, subdued coffee further back. Flavour is more coffee-dominated on the nose, with intense coffee, followed by loads of maple syrup. No real roast other than from the coffee. Delicious sticky dessert. Is this beer? Whatever, it’s tasty.

beerplace (6389) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 28, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2021 Taster shared with Matt and Andrew at Ballard's location. Appearance: almost black with a tan head. Aroma: maple syrup with some fruity notes and chocolate. Taste: still tons of maple, but also pleasant fruity character. Very sweet and thick. Overall: pretty good, a bit overwhelming, though.
