jackafholmes (1027) - - JUL 19, 2017Bottle from Brewdog Shef. Black no head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee, a touch of farmy pungency and a bit of salty liquorice soy. Taste is very well balanced, most of the other Baltic Porters I’ve had have been pungent flavour bombs that I get sick of after 3 sips, this is actually really drinkable, helped by the light and measured body and carbonation. Good stuff.
Capa (4059) - JAPAN - JUN 17, 2017Black with a creamy tan head. Chocolate, smooth roasted espresso, vanilla, dark malt, slight burnt notes. Full bodied. Lingering bitter espresso finish. So nice.
