dflb (527) - California, USA - DEC 3, 2019UPDATED: DEC 3, 2019 Purchased at Cathedral City Liquor from Cathedral City, California for $6.99, Imperial IPA is a western style IIPA brewed by Green Flash Brewing Company from San Diego, California.
The air reveals pine and herbal hops as you drink. The appearance is an orange amber with a low white head. Light reveals a hazy body. The alcohol content is 9%.
A bitter hop take greets you along with an earthy pine resonance. Grapefruit flavors the body followed by a mango hue. Evergreen lightly colors the hop profile and an anise like spice gleams the drink. A woodsy touch accompanies the pine, mango, and malt comprehension.
Green Flash Brewing Company’s Imperial IPA is delectable. The bouquet of Summit and Nuggets give off the flavors you experience. The pine, grapefruit, mango, anise, and woodsy feel blend together into a beautiful, bitter IPA. The anise like spice accentuates the hop bitterness. The hop bitterness is not as powerful as a Stone IPA, but strong to please a fan of the western IPA style. At room temperature, the evergreen and woodsy tone highlights the complexion. I loved drinking this brew and delighted by its vibrant hop profile.
Cheers. Prost. Drink for the love of beer.

coachd (2388) - O'Fallon, Missouri, USA - JUN 28, 2019UPDATED: JUN 28, 2019 The hops are just right and the ABV is well hidden. I could go back to this one any day.
Robnole (37) - Florida, USA - MAR 24, 2018Green Flash Imperial IPA is definitely true to the San Diego-style with a super-hoppy and high gravity, yet very drinkable beer. Starts out with a nice intense hop flavors and aromas which come from a blend of Summit and Nugget hops. Love beers like this that truly showcase their hops.
the_beergery (924) - - MAR 2, 2018Poured from a bomber bottle into a glass. Appears hazy dark orange gold. Aromas are grapefruit and hoppy. Tastes very much like grapefruit, bittersweetness throughout with very intense piney bitter finish.
Stuu666 (24521) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 26, 2018Keg at Ushers. Pours clear golden orange, nose is sweet toffee, pine, sherbert, taste is grassy, pine, dry toffee, floral.
AcctError488849 (19) - - DEC 28, 2017UPDATED: DEC 28, 2017 Peppery pine, some dank in the aroma. Quite bitter, resin, bread. Sort of metallic aftertaste. Feels a little weak, probably from sitting in the bottle. Not bad but not something i will go back to either. Too many other excellent IPAs to choose from.
Excelente cerveza.

camay1997 (288) - patton, California, USA - SEP 24, 2017UPDATED: SEP 24, 2017 Thick off white head on top of a golden hazy body. It smells of pine and citrus hops. To be honest, I was expecting a dark IPA, like imperial stout. While it has good flavors they are obliterated by that IPA aftertaste. While not a bad beer, it’s more for IPA veterans than the uninitiated.
nickel (1683) - UKRAINE - AUG 18, 2017Aroma: intensively hoppy with floral and pine hops.
Taste: floral hops, notes of citrus just to balance it’s pine flavor. Long lasting grass+pine aftertaste. Drinkable regardless high IBU and ABV.
One of my favorite imperial IPA, and probably most drinkable among DIPAs
