UPDATED: MAY 11, 2019 Thanks, Kyle, for bringing this back from Michigan --- Aroma of malt and hops. Nearly clear amber brown, beige head that stays at a full cover, bands of lace. Taste is slightly nutty malt in medium carbonation that adds mild hops in a medium long finish. Slightly roasted. A little heavy, hard to drink more than one. Mostly works.

473ml Dose. Klar und rötlich braun mit mittelgroßer Schaumkrone. Malzig. Ordentlicher Körper. Milder Abgang. Gut trinkbar.

Great taste for a red ale. Perfect color and head on the draft pour. Very fresh. Not too much bite. Not a red ale fan, generally, but this one might fix that.

Tap at Clubhouse BFD. Pours red color, off white head. Aroma is lots of caramel, sweet malt. Spot of citrus. Flavor is caramel, again sweet malt. Nice amber notes. Solid example of the style.

473ml can. dARK RED POUR, ruby hue, Hoppier aroma for the style. Flavor is melon, caramel, hops, one of the better red ales out there.

16 oz can poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, earthiness and light fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of caramel, earthiness and light yeast with a smooth lingering caramel finish.

Strong caramel malt notes and a some slight roasted flavors. Looks nice and sloppy. Draft at DTW. Mmm somewhat nutty. Not too strong on the nose. Thick and relatively heavy mouthfeel.

16 oz can pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of roasted malts and grain. Taste is malts.

From 16 oz. can at Lions game. Appearance, aroma, and flavor is overwhelmingly of strong caramel malts. That is the primary flavor. Also some roasted notes and slightly sweet fruitiness to the finish. Pretty solid amber ale.
