UPDATED: APR 16, 2021 2019 bottle shared by a friend on 4/14/21. Darkest brown pour with a thin tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, big vanilla (I would swear they added vanilla in some fashion) and bourbon. Malty and chocolatey flavor with vanilla and dark fruit accents before a bourbon finish.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 2019 Bottle shared at Blind Stout Share. Pours a pitch black with a small bit of brown head that dissipates. Lots of baker's chocolate on the nose with some prune and raisin with bourbon as it warms. Oak and big deep, rich chocolate notes on the palate, coupled with milk chocolate underneath. Quite thick and viscous visually and on the palate. Lingering bourbon, oak and chocolate. A beast of a beer. UPDATED: AUG 31, 2019 Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2019. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has intense bourbon and booze coming through with dark grains, earthy chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor is malt forward with sweet grains, lots of bourbon and some toffee with a hint of roast underlying.

Purple wax bomber 2016. Black stout pour. Aroma is a ton of raisins and dark fruit. Taste is sweet, raisins, dark roast. More brandy than bourbon. It's boozy, but still smooth for 18%.

Another interesting stout. Tons of brownie flavors, roast body balances the barrel well. Finish is bourbon barrel, coffee, and cocoa.
