UPDATED: AUG 16, 2019 Aroma of wort,caramel, malt, dried fruits and toast. Deep amber with a off-white head. Medium + sweet andlight to medium bitter. Medium body with average carbonation. Dry finish. Overall an OK christmas beer.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2018 Can shared. Clear copper with beige head. Some caramel, sweet red berries, quite bready, hop extract, toast with berry jelly, light roasted notes. Under medium sweet and almost medium bitter. Over light bodied with oily feel. Meh.

11-11-2018; bottle; at home (bought somewhere in/near Voss, Norway). The looks of the beer are nice. The color of the beer is a beautiful blend between amber and ruby red. It has the brightness of amber, but the deep colour of ruby red. Very nice. The beer is quite clear. On top, some frothy greyish foam is formed. Foam retention is low. The beer is crystal clear. The aroma of the beer is fine. It has some nice aspects, but it isn't a world changing beer. Very good beer for though for a nice evening by the fire with some relaxing. The beer has sweet malts with aromas of toffee, some hay and hops that provide some herbal touches. Not more than that. A bit on the simpel side. The taste of the beer is fine. The malts provide nice sweet with he toffee and all, but hops give some rather strong dry bitters. The bitterness is a bit too strong maybe, bringing the beer a bit out of balance. The palate of the beer is low average. Thin body, sticky text, very high carbonation. The finish has some toffee and very dry bitter hops. To dry actual. The beer is nice, but it could use some balance. It is a bit to rough just now.

Bottle. Amber coloured with a light tanned head. Aroma of malts, caramel and hints of metal. Taste is light sweet, malt-driven flavour and still a bit of the metallic notes from the aroma. Not the best juleøl at this abv but probably not the worst either.

Boks. Litt kjedelig og anonym juleøl. Helt greit, men lite spennende. Kan like gjerne drikke pils.
