Danish: Original Julebryg er en smuk ravgylden øl, der er velegnet til den danske juletid. Ud over en dejlig smag af malt, indeholder den også en søde fra chokolade og appelsin.

No christmas label. Extremely intense aroma and flavor of orange. foam is fine and persistent. This must be the beer’s answer to Grand Marnier .. Take you now together Harboe, yes it is crazy with a beer that tastes like Karen Volf Orange Bars, might go as Decert beer.

Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is orange chocolate and nothing else. Flavor is very sweet. Sweet finish. Watery. This is basically thin liquid orange chocolate, and I can’t stand orange chocolate. 141208

Rating #310, bottle long forgotten in my parents’ pantry

Appearance is hazy amber-brownish with a little head that dissapears immediately. Aroma is quite soapy with oranges and citrus, but there is also some sweetness from the malts and hoppy notes. Flavor has malts, hops, oranges and chocolate, while the soapy notes are reduced. As some others has mentioned, the beer has very much a similar taste to orange-chocolate candy. Quite interesting brew, but it can seem a bit artificial and the body might be a little thin.

Bottle, 6%. Strange candy orange aroma. Clear brown colour. Small stable white head. The flavour also has an orange note, it actually does taste like the orange chocolate that the label mentions. Not very successful in my opinion, though.

Bottled. A nut-brown beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is very sweet with strong notes of milk chocolate and oranges - too much. The flavor is also extremely sweet with strong notes of chocolate and oranges - again too much for my liking. The body is somewhat thin inspite of the ABV.
