UPDATED: DEC 23, 2021 16oz can. Very much like the base beer, this one poured a near pitch black color with little more than a wispy, small tan head to it. Aroma was some light spices, roasted and sweet malt characters, and what appears to be gingerbread. Thinner than the regular GBS. Flavor is cocoa, roasted malts, and gingerbread. This is highly drinkable, but I think some might find it a bit thin, though I really appreciated being able to drink this and not feel like I needed to close my eyes on the couch for a bit.
