luttonm (7592) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 17, 2017Harmon Tap Room, Tacoma. Soft fuzzy foam, dark amber brown. Fresh milled malt nose, pale chocolate and dry roast. Nice, clean malt flavors. Minimal dark caramel, a much more roasted amber and I like it. Tastes like a brown ale. Solid.

fiulijn (27110) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 16, 2016Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy amber color with creamy beige head. As usual, there is not much luck with the Amber, it has a good body strength, some malt flavor, high bitterness, hop resins, but hidden fruitiness, and way too much yeast, therefore it’s quite harsh.
bb (14189) - Alamo, California, USA - AUG 18, 2016Draft. Rich amber beer with a dark cream head. Dark malt and light cocoa aroma. light cocoa and dark malt flavor with backing hops. Medium bodied. Dark malt lingers with backing hops.
tourette (225) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 11, 2016Rather middle of the road Amber. A bit hoppier than most which is nice. Floral. Well balanced. Easy to drink.

maxwelldeux (4373) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - APR 24, 2014Bottle. Pours a cloudy dark amber color with a smallish off-white head on there. Nose has some caramel to it, as well as some subtle dark fruit elements to it. Taste is a little sweet up front, but then has a toasty finish which I didn’t expect. Not a bad beer.
Lagerboy (2388) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 11, 2014Bomber, apparently 5.5% ABV. Opaque orange brown, foamy tan head mostly fades. Rich caramel malt , floral hop aroma. Floral herbal earthy hop, sweet caramel malt taste, faint citrus grapefruit. Average carbonation, medium bodied, a more robust, well hopped amber makes it: NFL (Not For Lagerboys)
Nocturne (3313) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2013On tap at The Collins, Seattle. Ultra hazy brownish red shade. Full-on dirty, greasy, resinous hops, plus grapefruit, red berries and caramel all over the place. There’s a strong malt backbone underpinning it all. A very satisfying amber.
5000 (7050) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2013Bottle:   Big reddish caramel, moderate frothy tannish head, nice lacing.   Somewhat of a soapy malty aroma, fragrant, but a little artificial.   Malty up front, grainy, minor citrus peel and pith.   Doesn’t have
the sweetness or maltiness that I expect from an Amber Ale.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Grainy finish, pale malts, lacking umph, no real flavor, no real AMBER.   Christ... so many beers, so little time, and I waste
it with this stuff.   Please Harmon, body, malt, sweetness... thats an Amber Ale.   This one is a light version that is way too pedestrian for your average pedestrian.   Please don’t brew this to appeal to BMC drinkers.
robforbes (2428) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - JAN 17, 2013pours a cloudy amber with a vary large bubbly tan head, and good lacing.
smell is of toffee, roasted malt, hops, a touch of citrus, a little floral, and some pepper.
taste is of caramel, grain, malt, hops, spice, and pepper. ends tangy and bitter.
