COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the most worthy of pumpkin patches and during the silence of the midnight hour, the Greater Pumpkin raises up and pours a rich deep and burnished orange color. Heady aromas of bourbon, cinnamon, ginger, allspice and clove linger seductively over the thick white head of this tremendous brew. Its love at first sip as the full malt body, dominated by British crystal malt, brown sugar and pumpkin, slowly washes over your tongue. Bourbon barrel aging rounds out the flavors with notes of oak, vanilla, and bourbon. Pairs well with crisp autumn weather, crunchy fallen leaves, and the knowledge that your kids will be asleep soon so you can raid their Halloween candy bags. Previously 9% abv under the Mutiny Fleet series.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2021 Bottle. It poured a dark orange color with an off-white head. The aroma was of bourbon, cinnamon and vanilla. The taste was similar to the aroma with more bourbon, cinnamon, vanilla, oak, ginger, allspice, brown sugar with medium carbonation and a nice chewy aftertaste. Tasty.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2021 9/18/21 - Tallahassee, FL - on tap at Brass Tap. Sparkling orange pour, medium off-white head, decent lacing. Very vegal aroma, actually smells like pumpkin. Same impression with the flavor, solid pumpkin notes, not pumpkin spice. Decently thick mouthfeel.

coachd (2388) - O'Fallon, Missouri, USA - AUG 27, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2021 Great boozy aroma with butterscotch, pumpkin pie spice, real pumpkin and caramel. Pretty reddish brown color with an off white head. The taste was a little weak and metallic but had some redeeming qualities from the bourbon barrel. Hot finish that brings back all the good things from the taste. Pretty good but I wanted a bolder flavor.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2021 Earthy aroma and fall spice aroma, copper color, lasting foam. Earthy, malty flavor with mild bourbon, mild pumpkin, and mild spice. Not overly sweet. More vegetable flavors as it warms. Balanced.

Lots of cinnamon, clove, ginger and caramel. Big boozy notes as well. Soft notes of vanilla, oak and bourbon round out this tasty brew.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2020 2020 version.......pours an orange tinged amber with little head.......aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon, oak, squash fruit......taste is spices up front, pompion soon after then hint of bourbon, finishes with mild bitterness and slightly dry. Checks all the boxes, and as it opens up the bourbon increases but does not dominate. Well done.
