Plovmand (11038) - Grindsted, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2008Bottle. Pours amber with little head. Hoppy sweet aroma. Flavour is malty, fruity and hoppy. Bitter finish.
MPA (1245) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - FEB 16, 2008Bottle. Haha, Yespr...it wasn’t the last on Earth. Copper with beige head. Sweet, malty aroma with of figs and raisins. Notes of flowers as well with an overall fruity aroma. Flavour has some caramel malt character long with some raisin briefly abrubted by a hoppy, grape bitterness which finishes dry. Aging did this one well and has moved it up in my book. Had Heimdal only done beers of this standard... :-/
KimJohansen (10535) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - FEB 1, 2008Hazy amber with tiny head. Fruity aroma with hoppy notes. Fruity and spicy flavor with good hoppy bite in the end.
yespr (54984) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 27, 200850 cL bottle, at Den årlige ølsmagning i Valhal - last bottle on earth. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is quite complex hoppy, distinct fruity. Flavour is mainly of fresh fruity hops. Very solid bitter and fruity. Finish holds a very dry and bitter lingering hops finish. Nice.
jsquire (6238) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - DEC 23, 2007I have had this bottle too long in the fridge. No idea the bottle date. Clear amber color with a foamy ivory head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Nice hoppy nose of pine resin and grapefruit rind. Lots of hop flavors in this beer, including the grapefruit rind, orange zest and pine resin. This finish tails off with ruby red grapefruit rind. This bottle shows its age by being a little thin in the body. This is the hazard of waiting for a special occasion to drink a beer. Just drink the hoppy beers fresh.
Svesse (12015) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUL 15, 2007(Bottle) Deep amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy beige head. Fruity, very hoppy nose with grapefruit, orange peel and pine needles. Great citrussy hop aroma. Fruity, hoppy taste with loads of grapefruit and orange, notes of caramel and toffee linger somewhere among the hops. Rather sweet, body above medium, rather syrupy mouthfeel. Great citrussy hop character in a long, bitter-sweet finish. Bitterness stays for a long time. Not really complex or balanced, but this is a true delight for a hop head. Great IPA!
Maria (10208) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 3, 2007November 2005 - this beer is brewed by Svaneke Bryghus. The color is like dark heather honey, and the head is huge. The aroma is very nice and the nine different types of hops are the reason. The aroma hops gives nice fruity and floral notes. The flavour is lightly sweet with notes of flower and caramel, and the hops give a nice and clear bitterness with a hint of citrus. It’s a beer that gives you the feeling that you eat it - you get the feeling, that you have eaten food. Nice...
Linc (740) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 25, 2007Golden. fluffy white head, strongly hopped, pleasantly malty. nice balance overall.
Enjoyit (3807) - Vadum, DENMARK - MAY 7, 2007Hazy amber with a off-white head. An aroma of resin and citrus. A flavor of cloves, citrus and resin.
