COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It’s refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

maekchu (5321) - JAPAN - JAN 1, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 Bottle from Liquor Mountain. Dusty aroma of ripe apples and peaches, Sweet and lightly floral. Hazy dark blonde color, one finger of fluffy white foam, and lace that grabs the glass. Sweet bready malt, cake-like, with a decided witbier-like character (it contains coriander and orange peel). Great flavor changes through the palate stages. Medium heavy body. Very inviting aromas. Up there with Westmalle.

ricardostercios (1454) - Castelló de la Plana, SPAIN - DEC 7, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 7, 2021 Color naranja con ligera neblina, translúcida. Espuma blanca de más de dos dedos de espesor y excelente retención. Aroma medio, cereal, plátano maduro, heno, cilantro y notas especiadas. Sabor medio intenso, plátano maduro, tonos especiados, heno, pan, notas florales y de caramelo, final medio de amargor belga alto y dulzor maltoso medio bajo, posgusto ligeramente especiado, alcohol bien integrado. Textura casi sedosa. Carbonatación media baja. Un tanto más especiada de lo que disfruto. Aún así, evidentemente, la debo recomendar.

MeadMonger150 (1) - - JUN 18, 2021 does not count
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2021 Bottle from Casa de la Cerveza, served at home in a goblet. Pours a thick white head that resembles a floating pineapple icecream. Starts dirty yellowish and see-through. When it settles it turns opaque and gold. Aromas of banana, chewing gum and herb-spiced, very belgian. Mouthfeel: thin to medium body, coriander, orange peel and almost non-existent bitterness. Delicious, will definitely repeat.

Scopey (21884) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - MAY 12, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 12, 2021 Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. It pours clear blonde with a thick, dense white head. The aroma is cereal, hay, doughy farmhouse bread, nutty, spice, tart fruits, lemon peel, pear, sour apple, touch of sherbet and earth. The taste is firmly dry, tart almost, light pucker which dissipates, candy, pear drops, apple, melon, lemon sherbets, white grape, cereal, nutty, hay, grass, spice, kick of alcohol boost, vinous, sherbet, refreshers and some floral accents with a spicy, estery finish. Medium body and moderate to high, fluffy carbonation. Not one of those run of the mill, super sweet tripels of which there are many... Quite a unique offering.
