UPDATED: DEC 13, 2021 Taster at the Brick Store Pub. Pours brown, with a small, beige head. The nose is cloves, toffee, dust, chalk, and light coffee. Sweet and malty, with a thin, acrid bitterness. Fair.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2020 Pours dark amber with a cream colored head. Toasted, caramel malt and vanilla Aroma. Flavor is nutty, toasted malt with some caramel and creamy vanilla. Crisp earthy hop finish with some hints of cinnamon and cloves.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2020 Copper color with a spice aroma. What a winter ale should be. Caramel malt sweetness with maple syrup flavors. Floral hop bitterness to balance.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2019 Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a glass. Clear clear copper with medium off-white head. Aroma is hazelnuts, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is hazelnut, vanilla, and caramel malt.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2019 Pours up a amber copper color in the glass with a creamy off white head. Aroma has some mild spices over a heavy malt base. Taste is super malty caramel with just enough spices on top, but dont cloud the base beer. Clean refreshing hop rinse on the finish keep you wantiing more.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2019 Gorgeous copper pour with an even creamy lacy off white head. Lightly malty nose with caramel and mild winter spices in behind it. The whole beer is understated. A slight rise on bittering hops at end keeps it relatively clean. This is a winter warmer you can session. Good.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2019 750 ml. swingtop bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, spice and light coffee. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of caramel, cocoa, spice and light coffee with a smooth dry lingering spiced cocoa finish.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2019 Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass. Color is deep amber with 2' tan head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, toasted malt. Mouthfeel is medium with a pleasant finish. Flavors of toasted bread, caramel, cinnamon, earthy hops. Overall: outstanding in the style.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours reddish brown with a transient beige head and an aroma of spices and vanilla. There is a hearty dark malt flavor with sprucetips and a dry finish.

Bomber from Bruisin’ Ales or Tavour. Pours ruddy copper/amber with a beige head. Aroma is spicy, but not really the stand Xmas stuff. Med body or so. Flavor is rather vanilla, with smooth moderately roasty malt and some slightly biting spices. Not chili tho. Decent drink.
