UPDATED: DEC 13, 2021 CD24, bottled in 2017 and here I am just now opening it. Sitting on way too many old HF beers I never drank fresh. It’s a shame. Pours a dark brown / amber color. Small head. Smells like a sour black ale. Roasted caramel malts, oak, grape. Very clean mouthfeel and zero off flavors. Tart red wine, muscadine, sour apple, sour grape, citrus, zesty tart sweet finish.. It’s good, very refined but well it’s good.

Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Salty and tart in the finish. Great balance. Refreshing and quenching. Excellent.
