Very pale, and with some haze that poured out from the bottom of the bottle. The aroma has a bretty, herbal note with quite a bit of wood as well. I assume that herb – which is quite pungent – is yarrow. Tart, with a clean acidity, and a touch of wood for balance. There’s a lot of the herbal note, which complements the brett. I don’t specifically get vinous character, but the beer is quite balanced.

*11/18/2015 375ml bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead fest. glass. A~ glowing copper with a slight head and no lacing. S~ really not much going on... slight brett barnyard funk and sweet candy. T~ really bland...slight sweet lemon and brett funk but thats about it. taste like they used the sugar at the bottom of a Sour Patch Kids bag and no physical candy. M~ smooth, a little thin, good carb and refreshing. O~ maybe we had a bad bottle? but the first one in the series was similar... if they do another i’ll give it a go but these need improvement!

Pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is a little grassy but mostly vinous with good oak and white wine. Taste is lightly tart and citric, offers soft cereals along some crisp green apples. Dry , of course. Body is on the light side and carbonation moderately high. A nice vinous barrel-aged saison. Yum!

bottle shared by mathieuc, thanks bro! pours hazy light golden with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing. citrus - exotic varietals without being perfumey; grassy sulphuric notes, light acidity - some complexity; some soft tropical notes, white pepper. moderate carbonation - lacking at the end; light body - thin, drying and gently tart spicy-citrusy finish. nicely floral and citrusy - preferred a lot more july 4th.
