Taste is magnificent, some spice up front w/a nice dark choc mudcake vibe closed out by balanced bitterness.

17Beer (1621) - Weston, Connecticut, USA - MAR 13, 2021UPDATED: MAR 13, 2021 12 oz bottle. Pours a dark black with a brown/tan head. Coffee and dark chocolate smells. Big bodied roast malt and coffee flavors balanced by a licorice bitter sweet lingering finish. Sticky mouthfeel and above average carbonation. Really solid stout.

LagerGuide122 (803) - - JAN 26, 2021UPDATED: JAN 26, 2021 330ml bottle brewed in Japan at 7%. Pseudoblack brown with a nice-sized sandy head, good duration. Strong dark fruit aroma, blackcurrant raisin and fig, kept fairly airy however, with milk chocolate and coffee playing second fiddle. Lowish carbonation. Deep dark and sticky, viscous almost earthy bitter coffee develops and lingers constantly, with lighter fruity bramble tones, and milk chocolate kicking in at the end and in the aftertaste. An espresso stout for down and dirty coffee lovers, not Starbucks fans.
