UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 500 mL bottle. Black. Smells of bourbon, strong oak, light nutty malts. Tastes of strong bourbon, nutty malts, light toasted bread, oak. Medium heavy. Boozy, but not all that sweet. Pretty good.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2022 On tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a slight dark brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bread with a bit of chocolate and bourbon supporting. Flavor has a nice combination of bread and chocolate with an outstanding growing bourbon note.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2021 2021 Bourbon. Dark brown. Not much head on this pour. Dark brown head. Big rich bourbon and dark sugar nose. Raisin, sticky toffee pudding, dark agave syrup, deep fruits. Fuuuuck. Big body, sweet af but not sticky or cloying, just exceptional richness on the malts and barrel. Layers of fruits and sugars, like snowy December in a glass.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2019 Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a large brown foamy head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes, chocolate malt with some nice bourbon notes. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt notes with some chocolate notes and bourbon and vanilla notes. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. Very solid BA beer.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2019 Bottle shared by a friend. Darkest brown pour with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, bourbon and chocolate. Malty and chocolatey flavor with vanilla sweetness before a bourbon finish.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2019 500ml bottle thanks to derick pours out dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is nice toast malts some barrel notes. Taste is more of the nice roast malts barrel notes.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2019 Dark chocolate. Deep brown with a small head. Sticky sweet dark chocolate with a touch of booze. Bourbon is a bit subdued although the wood pops in during the finish.
