brokensail (18691) - Bay Area, California, USA - SEP 7, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2020 Bottle @ Home. Cloudy golden beer with a tall white head. Has a really great nose. Smells like the best of Jolly Pumpkin with a whole lot of lemon zest, peach skin, and honeydew. There's a lot of oak and lime as well. Smells really bright and funky. The flavor is definitely on the bitter side, which I could do without. It's got some nice lemon rind and bitter grassy herbs. Maybe some chalk and soil, too. Was excited by the aroma, but the flavor let me down a bit.

barrelagedluv (131) - Pittsburg, California, USA - AUG 5, 2018
Pours a straw color, with a loose fluffy, lacing and abundant bubbles. Aroma is funky, notes of citrus rind and yeasty sour dough bread.Taste is complex and nuanced; notes of lemon, biscuits, unfiltered honey, and Chardonnay. The finish is extremely oaky, the distinct foudre wood flavor artfully balances the sourness. A fantastic ale...Cheers Holy Mountain!

Green City: pours some pale murk with small head. Aroma is funky, lightly fruited, maybe a fleur. Taste is not to be expected from the nose. Super dry. Lightly bitter. Kind of earthy. Like two different beers altogether.
