phaleslu (14680) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 2, 2022UPDATED: JAN 2, 2022 16 oz. can from Higher Gravity. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a big white head that settles into a ring and large island of film, thickest in the center, leaving some lace in the glass, mostly near the rim. Notes of fresh herbs, grapefruit peel, pine, melon, sweet and doughy malts, florals, and grass. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a mouthfeel that starts more fruity and malty and ends with a deep bitterness that lingers. Good, but the promise of the aroma and the initial sip are tampered by the eventual intensity.
