Trolleo (6614) - Manchester, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 18, 2021 Sweet and malty. Clear golden colour with medium sized white head. Same sweet and malty taste. It's a dull golden ale but just what I wanted to go along with the goulash.

dragnet101 (2331) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2021 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a clear gold, small white head, some retention. Aroma is sweet, quite floral, light citrus and pine. Taste has a sweet resinous character to it, floral, fruity, pine, honey, moderate bitter finish. Medium smooth body. Enjoyable gold.

Garrold (9483) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 25, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 25, 2021 Bottle. Waitrose. This popped in me head after an FB old money beer thread got me thinking about OMT brews. Literally drank gallons of this at the Beer Engine on Wakefield Westgate around 1991-92. Proper eye opener along the lines of Weetybits brewed by Magic Rock Stu at the Hillsborough Hotel. I mean they had hops. Glorious then. Still decent now, to be fair. I’ve no idea what I’m on about.

gillhalfpint (386) - - MAR 1, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2021 5.9.20 cask ale at the Hop Pole in Beeston, Notts. Golden bitter fresh and hoppy with caramel malt and sweet fruit in the taste.

Martinsh (1348) - Crewe, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 12, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2021 Bottle from local Tesco. Amazingly, according to my records I’ve not drunk this before ! Aroma is malts with a touch of honey. Pours a pale straw with a small white head and good lacing. In the mouth it starts off sweet with summer fruits, before citrushops kick in, follwed by some spicy peppers. Finish is bordering on horrible bitter lemon. Nice and quite refreshing, but it’s hard to believe this beer was ever considered “ground breaking” !

biilz (1529) - SPAIN - JAN 25, 2021

FACambridge (1122) - Chelmsford, Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2020
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2020 Aroma : Not much. Lightly toasted sweet caramel malt, merest notes of honey and flora. Taste : Thinnish body. Moderately bitter citric bite up front, but no really distinctly flavours other than a little sweet caramel maltiness as it warms. Not horrible just a tad dull

3.6
MaltyVonHop (905) - - SEP 11, 2020
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2020 Hopback Summer Lightning 5.0%. Pale golden, citrus, honey aroma, full bodied caramel malt, citrus, honey, peppery. Lovely Golden Ale from Wiltshire 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2020 28/8/2020. Cask at the Fat Cat, Ipswich. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is citrus, hops, straw. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Nice summers evening pint.
