Bamsen78 (7609) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2022 Bottle, courtesy of MiP. Pours cloudy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of wild yeast, with touches of berries and dust. Dry, vinous flavour with notes of dust and touches of berries. Dry and dusty aftertaste. Low carbonation. Not bad, just tame, and higher carbonation would be a significant improvement.

Bottle. Pours murky dark orange with no real head. Aroma has funk, quite lactic, strawberries, sweet sticky caramel. Low carbonation, fine oily and slightly dry mouthfeel. Flavour has firm tartness, fairly fruity, kinda sharp vinegar among the lactic acid. Okay if kinda sharp.

Bottle at KØ17. Very malty aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small frothy. Citric flavour, slightly funky. Quite lactic. Sourish but OK. With this brewery I wonder if it was actually a renamed failed batch. Sorry to say.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2019 Copenhagen 24/3 2017. 75 cl bottle from Høkeren. Very graphic label with a happy centaur jumping around. Pours hazy amber with small off-white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving only bubbly remnants. Aroma is sour and pretty acidic. Sour berries, sour yogurt and tart fruit. Medium carbonation and watery texture. Flavor is lightly sweet followed by distinct sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingering. A bit one-dimensional - but if you like your fruit beer sour and acidic this might be the thing for you. 75 cl is a bit too much.
