UPDATED: JAN 10, 2022 Bottle from Hopduvel. Hazy dark brown, stable, foamy, tan head. Aroma of toast, chestnut, dried leaves, tea, peanut, hard caramel, fig, pear, brandy. Taste has sweet raisin, fig & pear in toasty, caramelly malt body with quite a nutty, powdery impression. Herbal, slightly peppery hoppy finish, lingering tea leaves, nuts, dried fruits, soft warming brandy-like alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Spot-on and exactly my cup of tea.
