radagast83 (11245) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - DEC 10, 2021UPDATED: DEC 10, 2021 Can at the DC post-Thanksgiving 2021 gathering. Poured a very dark brown, perhaps a dark cola color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma was chewy malts, sweet, but not overly sweet.
nimbleprop (12943) - Southeast, Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 9, 2021UPDATED: DEC 9, 2021 16oz can pours a clear caramel amber with some clumpy, white head. Nose has caramel and malt, dates and cherries. Flavors follow, mostly malt and dried fruits. Some port now. Full bodied, sticky and fruity finish.
beastiefan2k (4714) - Bawlmer, Maryland, USA - NOV 27, 2021UPDATED: NOV 27, 2021 Shared by new plastic. Add a tasting. Decently clean but a strong sweet finish to the beer. I’d like it but it’s a little too sweet. I mean I’d buy it again.
solidfunk (16061) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - NOV 26, 2021UPDATED: NOV 26, 2021 Roast and caramel. Black pour with ok head. Some caramel. A touch of lime. Really nice, well done. Light bittersweet end.
nuplastikk (8158) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 14, 2021UPDATED: DEC 3, 2021 Deep, unfiltered amber-brown body. Steady, big, beige head. Sweet, rather big on what I perceive as specialty malts; give its a little bit of a sugary feel. Grew on me as I drank at the 4pack. Has more of a Celebrator tone than most of its peers, but drinks a little bigger. Unique, really delves into the style.
egajdzis (9093) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 9, 2021UPDATED: FEB 9, 2021 Brown color with a medium light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Caramel malts, roast, some cocoa, burnt bread, sweeter finish.
