yngwie (20302) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 28, 2019UPDATED: SEP 28, 2019 Bottle, at Håndverkeren. An almost unclear one, golden in color, with a small white head. Herbal aroma with gale and a generic forest touch. Mostly pale malts in the back, with a nice fruitiness. It's full bodied, soft and with a dry, lightly bitter touch. Fruity, herbal flavor, some bitterness and a backdrop of pale malts. Lasting dry, fruity and herbal finish. A quite nice herbal beer. 190928
Cunningham (12125) - Halden, NORWAY - SEP 11, 2019UPDATED: SEP 11, 2019 Unclear yellow golden pour with a fine head
Ok lacing. Looks nice
Powerful myrtle aroma.
A little bit high carbonation level.
Tad fizzy mouth feeling
Ok duration
They have used a lot of myrtle here. They do as usual kill everything else
I know…..
So not much spruce or juniper left in the flavor

ChrisOfstad (5258) - Hamar, NORWAY - SEP 6, 2019UPDATED: SEP 6, 2019 0,33 litre Bottle, shared with Cunningham. Cloudy Golden with white head. Malts, hops, pine, myrtle. Herbs.
Beer5000 (9502) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 4, 2019UPDATED: SEP 4, 2019 Bottle @ Haandtverkeren. Slightly unclear golden body with a fine off-white head. Complex aroma of malt, pine, wood, wet forest, mushroom and Myrica gale. Flavor has much of the same ingredients as found in aroma, but in some kind of surprisingly easy drinkable way. The first sip feels a bit odd and heavy, than in some strange way it feels more and more refreshing. With some parallels to a belgium tripple, the first sips can feel to sweet and sugary, then there is some kind of fruitiness making it quite refreshing. It’s not obvious to sort out all flavors, for me this was a bit like tasting, finding and then some flavors almost disappear and something else comes forward. The most dominating flavor is pine and Myrica gale but there is a lot of things happening here. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. This was for sure a really fun beer to drink, and it tastes nice as well.
