beer_rookie (1102) - Arkansas, USA - OCT 3, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2020 Pours a banana color. Two finger white head. Good carbonation. Poor lacing retention, no lacing.

Aroma is sweet pickle. Salt, lemon. I feel like I’m about to drink pickle juice.

Tart. Dill pickle. Well no, it lessens to cucumber taste. But the tartness and saltiness of the style leads me to think pickle. It’s strange, but tasty.

Mouthfeel is crisp and light. Dry. Refreshing. A good hot day beer, although a strange one.

Overall, it’s good. I would buy it again but I probably wouldn’t recommend it.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2019 Can... Pours lightly hazy and straw-colored with a large, fluffy, white head. The aroma is lemony with a hint of cucumber. Medium-bodied with prickly carbonation. The flavor is tart, citrusy and bright - lemon and plenty of cucumber. No big-time wheat here. Finishes crisp and clean. Dries out. Delicious!

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2019 7/13/19 - Little Rock, AR - Legacy Wine & Spirits - 12 oz can. Slight haze to the light golden, tight snow white head clings to the edge of the glass. Aroma has a hint of cucumber, very earthy. Nice earthy essence, some cucumber, a bit of watermelon rind, a hint of topsoil. Nice spritz to the mouthfeel.

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2019 Interesting spin on a berliner weisse with muted aromas but the cucumber was definitely present in the flavor. Not too tart. Easy to drink but not worth a return visit.

Can. A- Cucumber, vinegar, lemon juice. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Cucumber, tart. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, refreshing finish. O- Very much like a cucumber. Natural tasting and a balance of tartness and sweetness. Refreshing and quite flavorful. One of the best cucumber brews I've had and awesome on a hot day.

Pours a pale yellow body with a white one inch head. Body is very clear and effervescent. Head retention and lacing were below average. Smells of lactic acid, fresh cut cucumber, slight tart vinegar. Getting alittle bit of hay/straw also. Hops and alcohol arent detected. Taste is tart but wouldnt say its sour. Profiles similar to a typical berliner but with the nice refreshing finish of cucumber. Beer ends with some malty sweetness, similar to that of a kolsch. As in aroma, alcohol and hops are not detected. Mouthfeel is very light and very carbonated. Beer finishes very puckery. Wish head was present longer. Overall Im a sucker for Berliners and I really like cucumber so I loved this beer. Prolly not technically the best made in its style but I always have it in my fridge in the summer.

On tap at Independent, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with cucumber skins upfront, followed by lacto. Flavour is likewise a cucumber skin bomb, being totally dominated by the cucumber. A little bit of lacto underneath. Crisp and highly drinkable. Excellent.
