COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A cold weather game changer of a beer, Embrr is every bit as rich and tasty as its sonorous name suggests. A true wake up call if you haven’t started packing away your Summer whites yet. Embrr (not a typo!) is brewed with a hefty portion of rye and flaked rye to give this smooth porter a rich chocolaty body and hint of spice. Embrr is brewed with 2-Row, Chocolate, Rye, Flaked Rye, Crystal, Roasted Barley, and Sybilla hops.

12 oz bottle from Buy Rite. Dark brown pour with a thin, light brown head and some drippy, spotty lacing. Spice, rye, and malt. Some dry roast coffee. Bit of smoke as well. Solid flavor and mouthfeel. Average to lively carbonation, finishes with a bit a spicy tingle. Fairly long close.

Bottle. It pours black with a small light brown head. The aroma is chocolaty and roasted. A little smoky. The flavor is the same. It has some dense breadiness with some spicy hop bitterness. Chocolaty with hints of smoke and roasted malt. Good full oily body, no doubt because of the rye. I’m a sucker for rye porters. Love the body it gives them.

On tap at brewpub. Rich roasty aroma with some spice hints. Vanilla, chocolate, big roasty taste. Light caramel notes and a dry finish. Bug and smoky.

Dark pour with thin foam. Touches of chocolate and roasted coffee in the nose. Malty taste with a touch of rye spice and bitterness at the end. Rich mouthfeel. A little more spicy than a typical porter.

Black pour from draft at Righteous brothers in Cincinnati. Off white head. Graham cracker, cocoa, chalky, thick mouthfeel a little bourbon. Not bad but a mouthful to deal with for low abv

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle which looks to be dated 10-12-15. Dark brown pour with reddish hues and a modest off-white head. It fades fast. The aroma has a dark and sweet grainy malt character with a low hop profile. Medium or better body. The taste is more sweet than grainy but both are there. Mild dry bitterness to finish.

Pours a dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate and coffee. Taste the same with some malty sweetness and a little spice. Medium palate. Nice beer. No lacing in the glass.
