UPDATED: JUL 20, 2019 On tap at brewpub. Mild fruity aroma. Bitter resin taste, not all that fruity. Long bitter finish. Fine but not mind blowing.

FROTHINGSLOSH (11821) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 13, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2019 Sampled on draft this beer poured an amber color with a huge creamy yellow-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was malty and sweet with mixed fruit and perfume. The flavor was tangy and bitter with leather, earthiness, pine and fruity hops. Somewhat boozy. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Can. Orange pour with smallish head. Orange and grapefruit on the nose. Grapefruit bite with orange a melons. Moderate bitterness. Not terrible, but pretty forgettable. Decent.

blankboy (9237) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 19, 2018
[Can (16oz)] Pours a hazy dark orange-copper with an average size semi-lasting frothy white head. Some minimal lacing. Aroma is malty, a bit bready, fruity and piney. Flavour is malty first and ends bitter, a bit sweet and fruity in the middle and there's a touch of alcohol in there. Medium bodied. A bit maltier and not hoppy enough for a DIPA, to me, just good overall.

nimbleprop (12943) - Southeast, Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 16, 2017
Tap at Max's in Baltimore, pours a lightly hazy orange with a ring of white head. Nose is very standard, orange, grapefruit, pine, soap. Flavor has some honey and grist, bitter orange, pine, soap. Bitter finish. Very run of the mill.

Pours orange-golden, slightly hazy with a nice one finger foaming white head. Tastes of malt and bitter pine. It’s full bodied with moderate carbonation. Somewhat boozy.

growler pour from Dominion Wine & Beer, snifter. nose is weak pine and a little lemony. color is opaque yellow and very boring. taste brings forward a decent amount of ripe pine and citrus. not bad, but left with a bit of booze in my sinuses.

2.8
ClarkVV (9063) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 24, 2016
Undated bottle from the Box O Hops 12 pack, drunk 11/18/16.
Lightly hazy, copper-orange-golden body topped by a moderately well-retained, off-white head.
Strong tangerine juice, with orange rind, pineapple and alcohol in the nose signify another rather messy IPA from Ithaca, with not enough (no) maltiness behind it. None of the soft honey or wheat of a good NE IPA. Little to no juiciness and just a lot of coarse grain, alcohol and citrus.
Very strong, bitter, boozy body with resin on the end and again, not a malty texture. Grainy, husky and overly dry with light caramel and bread mixing with the tangerine and nectarine. Pineapple, pine, booze and spice linger on the finish.

Draught at City Tap House. Hoppy hop water with citrus and bitterness and pine. Nice.
