UPDATED: NOV 3, 2021 Pours black w/ a tan head & good lacing. The aroma is toffee & slightly nutty. The flavor is dry, kind of nutty, & not sweet. Has a nice mouthfeel & overall quite good!

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2021 A black beer, a head is quite small and brown. Aroma has liquorice, dired fruitness, some walnuts. Taste has liquorice, dried fruitness, some roastiness. Medium+ bodied. There are good elements, but the balance and complexicity could be better.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2021 Black with a medium sized head. Roasty and toasty with anise, floral hops and walnut. Long finish. Amazingly thick and creamy

UPDATED: APR 1, 2021 Bottle from Etre Gourmet, srved at home in a snifter glass. Dark brown colour, smallbrown head with short retention, just a line of a lacing. Aroma of chocolate, walnuts, dried fruits, berries, some leather. Full body, creamy texture, sweet finish. Taste of chocolate, walnuts, spices, dried fruits and berries. Great.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2020 Kolor bardzo ciemny brązowy, delikatne, rubinowe prześwity sugerują, że piwo nie jest bardzo mętne. Piana wysoka, barwy brązowej. Zbudowana z drobnych pęcherzyków charakteryzuje się długim czasem redukcji. Ładnie zaznacza każdy łyk. Aromat palony, kawowy, słodki czekoladowy z nutą orzechów.  Smak słodki i gorzki jednocześnie. Słodycz ma charakter czekolady, cukru kandyzowanego, Gorycz jest palona, kawowa. Jest długa i wyraźna. W tle, w posmaku nuty orzechów.  Alkohol ładnie schowany. Wysycenie średnie do niskiego. Ciało wysokie. Tekstura miękka, gładka. Posmak długi, jest tutaj wszystko co wcześniej wymieniłem. Czekolada, kawa, orzechy, cukier kandyzowany.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2020 Bottle from De Bierliefhebber. Aroma is roasted malt with cocoa, nuts, caramel, candy sugar, chocolate. Flavour is above medium sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Body is above medium, more thickness would have been appreciated. Nice, expected a bit more though.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2020 Bottle picked up from Etre Gourmet webshop, Belgium. Had this Sunday 3rd May 2020 listening to Moon Duo - Occult Architecture Vol1- and cooking lots of meals, Fish Pie, Moussaka (finishing from yesterday), Mexican Chorizo Meatballs, Spaghetti Bolognese (sauce) and finally, Giouvetsi (tonight's meal). Pours black and a head that swiftly departed. Lots of coffee on the nose. Sticky, bitter toffee, really bitter, the walnuts are not so noticeable but there is a general nuttiness. This is glorious, okay it's a bit pokey and it's only 7:35pm but marvellous.
