UPDATED: SEP 21, 2020 Blend 5 bottle shared by a friend on 9/19/20. Darkest brown pour with a medium tan head. Nose of malt, funk, berry and cherry. Malty and chocolatey flavor with funky accents before a cherry finish.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2020 Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, day two, 09/09/2017. A jet black brown coloured pour with a loose cherry tan head. Aroma is big liquorice, burnt black sugars, marmite, wood, sour lacto. Flavour is composed of sour woody, tangy green apple, lacto, berry, burnt sugars. Palate is tart, highish carbonation, lingering tart.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2019 750ml bottle, 2018 vintage. Tart dark fruit aroma aroma with notes of red wine, chocolate, roasted malt and oak flavors. Pours deep brown with a large mocha brown head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with tart dark fruit, chocolate and roasted malt flavors as well as having a smooth mouthfeel. Finishes smooth with vinous red wine and oak flavors with the red wine tannins lingering on the palate after each sip. Excellent sour stout.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2018 0.75 bottle, thanks Lukaku. Sour cherry and wood aroma, bit moldy, some aceto, chocolate and cocoa. Pitch black color with medium to big sized to dark brown head, but disappears quickly. Sour taste, tarty, cherry, aceto, oak, moldy, yeast. Medium body, soft carbonation, astringent.
