UPDATED: DEC 29, 2021 Bottle thanks to Gibson. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head. The aroma is earth, oak and dark fruit. Slick body, raisin, oak, brett, light tartness, very good.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2020 Bottle, 0.75l, 3 years old. Aroma is musty, vinous, ripe fruity and woody. Pours cloudy light brown color with medium sized soapy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts light sweet and sour grainy, following is vinous, funky, woody and herbal, while finish is medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. March madness...

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2019 Tasting @ Koelschtrinker's place. Smooth sourish beginning. Easy to drink, mild and sour, fruity with a deep fruity grainy ending. Sourish, red fruits, easy to drink, sour and mild. Nice fruity, but not too deep or complex.

Bottle at a Tasting at Koelschtrinker's place. A clear amber beer. Aroma of mild sourish caramelish malt. Taste of caramelish malt, red fruits, grapes, brett.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2018 Sampled from 0.375 l bottle from 'Rudat', bottled in December 2016, cellared for more than a year. Clear, dark amber with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty, a little sourish, moderately fruity aroma of caramel, gooseberry, oak and some vanilla. Minimally sweet, moderately sour, a little funky, gently fruity taste of gooseberry, lemon, oak, some caramel and hints of vanilla, followed by a medium long, gently tart, woody-dry and a little funky finish. Medium body, gently astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

Süffiger, säuerlich würziger Beginn. Minimal bitter, spritzig, leicht würzig, heller malziger Nachhall. Gelungen. Gut. 10/10/10/10/7/10

Bottle shared at home. Pours a slightly hazy caramel brown with a light tan head. Berries, redcurrant, caramel, floral honey, oak, vinous, biscuits. The sweetness and berry notes lift this up, very nice.

From 2018 bottle in tulip. Pours murky orangish amber w/dense light tan head, aroma of sour cherries w/grassy earthy undertones. Smooth w/well-rounded tartness. My first JP brew, a good starter

Bottle shared at Svartvits. Slight hazy brown with dark beige head. Sour light berries, dry oak, soft bready, light flowery, red wine, funk, earthy. Medium sour, light bitter and quite light sweet. Just medium bodied and light dry finish. Nice.
