heavy (2948) - Split, CROATIA - NOV 19, 2018
May '17. A 0.5 l can, as Klaas Premium. than poured a yellow to golden body with a big head. Weaker lemony aroma, light hay and corny syrup. Actually, the label states glucose-fructose syrup. Pardon me. Wouldn't actually be that bad if not the sweet, empty flavor which didn't show anything else than that same malty syrupy semi artificial...thing. Almost nonexistent palate and finish, some lemon and metallic touch broke through only. Could be even worse, sure, which doesn't mean it's something else than bad anyway.

Can in Mostar, BiH from a Konzum market. Confusing label (perhaps exacerbated by my limited language skills), but it seems there’s is some involvement with Carlsberg Polska. Ugly, chunky white foam on pale, dull, clear orange yellow. Cereals on nose, sweet fruity grain on sip. Weak, but also cloying with artificial fruit like flavors. Dry biscuit body, drying to cardboard. Sawdust. Ok bittering finish in that respect. But overall it’s pretty bad. At least it has some decent character.

Another boring beer, however where it was consumed, a top a hill overlooking Dubrovnik at sunset, made for a remarkable experience.

No wonder people are observed drinking this at cafes in the morning. It’s perhaps safer than tap water, but certainly no more exciting. Found in refrigerator, so can’t complain!

Can. A golden Beer with a White Head. The aroma has notes of Malt and and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and metal, leading to a dry metallic finish.

0.5l can from a local Konzum. Will most likely be aliased to Klaas Bier Premium. Pale, dull golden body, initially fizzy and with a huge white head, but that subsides fast. Dry malty aroma, vague honey. Some vegetables. Dry light taste, slightly metallic, some malty touches, but quite dry. Vague fruitiness from the glucose-fructose syrup. Thin, somewhat chuggable, boring. Meh.

Can from a random Konzum in Zagreb. Pale golden body, lasting big white head. Aroma... apple and vegetable, sweet, malty. Empty, watery flat honeyish taste. Watery. Light, very light pistaccio. Eh, not as "good" as the plastic bottle version.

Can, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with two finger soapy white head. Smell is malty and grainy, lots of corn. Thin body, watery texture, high carbonation. Almost no taste or aroma. Bland and empty. Traces of corn and metal. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Overall, pointless excuse for a beer.

Canned 500ml. - Courtesy of and shared with Marko, thanks! Yellow coloured, medium sized white head, corn in the nose. Corn, water, light bread and touch of vegetables. Even plastic version is better. Useless of course.

0.5 l can from a Konzum store in Zagreb. Drank from a can. Very light grain and vegetable aroma. Virtually no taste, watery texture, high carbonation, some malts in the finish. Avoid this excuse for a beer.

Mislim da je ovo iz Konzuma. Nekakva slaba razvodnjena piva bez ikakvih okusa i mirisa. Bezveze. Izbjegavati!

Clear, golden colored, small to no white head. Aroma is of some malt, corn and metal. Taste is medium- sweet malt and corn, bit bready, medium-light bitterness, bit metallic. Light bodied, average carbonation, watery and empty.
