COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Overhead is an American-style Imperial IPA. This beer is loaded with our favorite hops; Amarillo, Columbus, Centennial and Simcoe. It’s bittered with a gigantic charge of Columbus and Simcoe early in the kettle that is followed by several rounds of late kettle and whirlpool hops using Amarillo, Centennial and Simoce. In the end, Overhead is brewed with over 5 pounds of hops per barrel which includes two rounds of dry hopping to create a cascade of pine, resin and citrus hop flavors that consume your palate. Although we brew Overhead with the same imported Pilsner and light crystal malts as Head High and ferment it with our house ale strain to produce a dry crisp finish, this blend of different hops creates an entirely new experience all its own. Style: American Imperial India Pale Ale (IIPA) Malt: Pilsner, Light Crystal, CaraPils & Wheat Hops: 5+LBS/BBL Kettle: Columbus & Simcoe Whirlpool: Amarillo, Centennial & Simcoe Dry Hop: Columbus & Simcoe Yeast: American OG: 18° Plato ABV: 8.2% Color: 6.8 IBUs: 100+

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2021 I poured it from the can into a tulip glass. It pours a hazy orange with a white head and lacing. The aroma is big on hops. It's earthy and dank. The taste is grapefruit and hops. This is very flavorful. There's nice carbonation. There's a lingering, dank bitterness. If you like lots of different hops, this is very good.

mansquito (12992) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUL 26, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2021 Can from Chris M: barely hazed orange with white head. Grapefruit and biscuit aromas. Clean citrus with well put together malt backbone. This is one of the things Kane pulls off very well.

NobleMeister15 (1) - - SEP 3, 2019 does not count
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2019 Great Imperial IPA. Golden with a tinge of orange. Nice white head, not overly fluffy. Clean crisp flavor, some grapefruit up front but not overly so, perfect amount of bitterness and wonderful mouthfeel. A great American style IPA, not an overly fruity NEIPA, doesn’t overwhelm you with fruit up front and and then finish with an excessive amount of bitterness. Just finished a very fresh can, wonderful.

beerplace (6389) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 31, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 31, 2019 Tall can (thx, Robert B.!) broken by Vika on parking lot. Appearance: murky golden with a white head. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits with some freshness. Taste: juicy, tropical fruits, low to moderate sweet, tropical fruits bitterness. Overall: very nice.
