COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kapteni Kange on traditsiooniline kange hele õlu, mis on pruulitud sama küpsetest odralinnastest kui merre loojuv päike, sama tugeva aroomiga humalakäbidest kui värske laevapuit, sama puhtast veest kui Põhja-Jäämere jäämäed.

I tend to like SPLs, but this is hoppier, more aggressive, and less pleasant than others. Less malty than other Saku brews even at this abv (16.9 oz bottle, Maxima)

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 22, 2016
(Bottled, BBE 31.10.2016) Clear pale greenish golden with a small, fading head. Aroma of corny-starchy malt, green apple, lime, fusely alcohol. Flavor is corn, starch, slight sweetness, surprisingly not much alcohol present. No hops present, finish fades fast. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Quite easy to drink for the ABV (if cold), but don’t expect to get any enjoyment from this - besides the obvious one of getting drunk for a few €. 4126

suurjuust (4492) - ESTONIA - MAY 23, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2014 Very pale yellow, white soapy head. Nose paper, vegetables, rubber and a weird sweetness in the background. Oily mouthfeel, grainy sweetness that is somehow a bit sickly. Finishes with hop extract. Lingering booze. Very industrial and pretty disgusting.

Senka (1138) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 15, 2014
2L bottle. I belive it is still available in some shops. This is as scanky as it gets - do not dare to try it. Drink water from a pond, of you wish, but not this.

This is a niche beer - mostly for the people with 0 income. I have seen only hobos drinking it. It is cheap, strong on abv, and resembles some kind of beer. Nothing to describe here - beer like that is available in every country.

Marduk (15939) - Reval, ESTONIA - FEB 26, 2014
500ml bottle. Pale yellow color. Medium size, white head, stays. Malty, poo, wort, sweat in aroma. Papery, malty, sour, starch in taste. Never again.
Earlier Rating: 5/3/2012 Total Score: 2
NOTE: This is not really a rating. I’m converting my old notes over to BR. This is more like "check" for my own purposes, that I have indeed drunk this beer at the time it was produced.

FatPhil (22608) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 23, 2014
500ml bottle - shared by Marduk - thanks!
Some gentle esters in the aroma, otherwise pretty feeble. Very pale, brief head. Potato starch taste. Thin, pale, starchy, finish has a hint of hop extract, but that’s thin and acidic, and lacking any fullness. Gets gluier pastier starchier as it warms. Gets harsher with the extract hops over time too. Bad beer. Not even as clean as I would expect from Saku.
