COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

MarcoDL (8408) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 9, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 Can. Black pour. Aroma of dark chocolate, smoke, cognac, caramel, vineus red grape, malt, little tarr, licorice and dates. Taste has nice fruity cognac, vineus red grape, oak, dark chocolate, licorice, smoke, soft roasted malt, caramel, fruity vanilla and a fruity malty finish with a lot of cognac. Very good edition, the barrel is very well integrated.

Zlotta (7579) - Hagen, GERMANY - JAN 3, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2022 0.33 l can from 'rebelbeercans', best before November 2025. Pitch black with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty, slightly smoky-medicinal and a bit fruity aroma of dark chocolate, peat, cognac, raisins and a touch of coffee. Quite sweet, malty, rather roasty, slightly fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, cognac, some raisins and light oak, followed by a long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly vinous, moderately smoky-medicinal and a bit woody finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty RIS, lovely cognac flavours, very well-balanced, the peated malts match really well, too. Quite good!

bierkoning (18836) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 17, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 17, 2021 Can. Black. Roast, raisin, cognac and a hint of oak in the aroma and flavor. Slightly alcoholic, certainly not too sweet. A big relief after all those ridiculous pastry stouts. Full bodied.
