Abv de 7,3 et ebu de 59. Dry hopping en chinook et centennial. Mon exemplaire était à 8 mois après sa date. Couleur doré aux reflets bronze et léger voile. Bulles fines, partout, bien vives. Mousse blanche, à gros flocons, plutôt informe, stable à 2 mm. Arômes de cuberdon, eau de rose, zeste de pamplemousse. 1ère bouche fluide, sur un produit lessive très parfumé. Arrière-bouche avec du zeste, et une fin de bouche plus correcte. 2ème bouche avec muguet, savon à bobonne, et eau de Cologne .. Arrière-bouche où l'amertume commence à sentir la rose .. Longueur qui fatiguerait même un parfumeur bien intentionné ... Jambes fuyantes, collantes sur la hauteur. Levure correcte. Alcool sous son niveau, il n'est d'aucun secours pour travailler le savon. Finale nulle. CONCLUSION : curieuse façon de traiter une ipa .. peut-être avec la vilaine arrière-pensée qu'il suffit de créer des parfums bizarres pour mettre ' christmas ' sur une bière … Donc 2 fois fautifs : sur l'ipa et sur la christmas !! Bravo .. Revenons d'ailleurs à l'intitulé : christmas, non, very hoppy, non, ipa, non. Correction : 3 fois fautifs … (1/2/1/1/2)

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2019 Blik thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is troebel oranje geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige en harsige geur en smaak met een wat scherpe afdronk.

Can at home. Pours golden amber, nose is pine, herbal, grassy, toffee, taste is juicy, sweet pine, quite bitter.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2019 Can picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at home Sunday 10th February 2019 listening to Shame - Songs of Praise whilst cooking French Onion and Beef Pie with Gruyère Crust. Pours gold with a white head, is it just the seasonal hint from this beer that makes me pick up some spruce I wonder. Soft in the mouth, juicy and bitter, some zippy lemon touches,, there is a dry finish, a touch perfumey on the nose. Busy cooking (chopping a 1.4kg of Topside and 1kg of onions) so beer rating is rather brief.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2019 Can. Golden pour. Aroma of soapy pine, malt, orange and citrus. Taste has bitter soapy pine, floral herbs, orange and some malt. Too soapy and weird.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2019 Can at home. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, resiny hops, piney, spruce, sweaty onions, pancake batter. Moderate sweet and strong bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation. Oily, creamy. Spicy alcohol boost. Fierce and strong.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2019 Can from Dorst, Den Haag and shared in Bangkok. Poured a clear light golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, big piney light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, crisp, grassy, piney, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
