danlo (8048) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 Sample courtesy of mintutemat, cheers Mat! Golden colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of wood, oak barrel, sharp funk. Taste is farmhouse funk, apple, barrel, oaky, vanilla, with white wine notes, some tart acidity and drying woody tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart woody finish. Nicely drinkable.
UPDATED: DEC 28, 2021 375ml bottle from Beerdome. Pours a misty dull golden haze. Bright wild floral woody nose, good mixed ferm suggestions. Taste sees this come to life nicely, really interesting mixed ferm blend, captivating wild fruity nuances with a good oak barrel influence, some white wine hints lingering on the finish. Excellent wild cider.
