Taste: Crisp almost airy hop finish is balanced with bread, malt sweetness. Same with the nose. Deep amber in color, clear, with a tall foamy head and some lace. Medium body. A bit liter in mouthfeel that the Original Munich Oktoberfest.

Dunkelgelbes Märzen mit reichlich Schaum. Malzaromatischer Antrunk, honigtönern und süßlich nach Biscuit. Floraler Hopfen im Abgang. Simpel, aber durchaus süffig!

Pours copper with a small off white head, quickly dissipated. Aroma is caramel, hay, cereal and nutty. Taste is sweet with toasted bitters, mostly sweet. Medium bodied, average carbonation, somewhat sticky.

Tastes like a good session beer, it’s an oktoberfest beer so that’s the point. It’s orange.

50cl bottle @ home shared with dad. Slightly unclear yellow to orange-color, small to medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, grains, a bit hay-ish and lightly some bitterness. Low to medium body and carbo.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. Orange appearance with an off white head. Big grassy, straw, slightly toasty malty, light caramel aroma. Moderate caramel, toasty malty, thick grassy, hay flavor. Not all that bad, actually.

Pour out of 500 mL bottle is clear red with thin off white head, aroma has notes of slight cardboard, slight grain, hints of cardboard, slight grassy notes. Taste is a mix of dark cherry, biscuit, caramel, hints of biscuit, grass, bits of slight vanilla and buttery biscuit, finishing fairly sweet.

Everything I want in an Oktoberfest. Hoppy yet not overpowering. Caramel toasted malts with a very slight spice.
