UPDATED: JAN 3, 2020 This is the 2019 Winter Edition. Golden color, not much of a head. Aroma is earthy, grassy, citrus. More of the same in the flavor, with a bit more citrus coming through. Malt balance is perfect. Very drinkable. La Cumbre once again does not disappoint.

George999 (690) - Colorado, USA - OCT 20, 2018
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2018 Aroma: Can - initially citrus intermixed with melons. As the aromas settle the hops remain the most prevalent remaining citrus . The malts provide a mild sweetness balancing the hops. Appearance: Crystal clear body with a pale yellow color. The head is white remains on the beer with small bubbles with a few medium tossed in. Flavor: Melons, grapefruit, and stone fruit flavor from the hops. The malts provide a bit of sweetness a light toasted malt texture. Balance is hoppy with an earthy hop finish and mild sweetness. Mouthfeel: Thin body with medium carbonation. No alcohol warmth and low astringency from the bittering hops. Overall: A pleasant IPA with a good balance of malts and hops. Very enjoyable.
